Are the spider veins on your face, legs or other body parts becoming more and more problematic?
Did laser therapy prove ineffective?
Are you unable to spend so much time concealing the postoperative scars?

We invite you to try the Veinwave™ system, the newest method of effective removal of small vascular changes at the cooperating unit – the Saska Clinic (the treatments are performed by the team of Iwona Radziejewska-Choma, MD.)

The characteristic features of this new system of spider vein treatment are:
– ability to selectively close even very small vessels, (up to 0.3 mm diameter)
– perfect complementation of microsclerotherapy (ask our physicians how to combine these two procedures)
– no necessity to wear compression garments after the treatment
– ability to remove spider veins in the ankle area

The efficacy of this device has been confirmed in over 50 tousand treatments in over 31 countries all over the world, which made the Veinwave™ system to be recognized as Gold Standard in removing small vascular changes on the skin.
The system is based on pinpoint thermocoagulation, which means utilizing a carefully controlled dose of very high frequency microwave energy. It is used to heat and seal small blood vessels. The device has been authorised in the countries of the European Union.
The standard procedure with the use of thermocoagulation lasts approximately 15 minutes. Within this time it is possible to remove spider veins on the area of 80-100 cm length. Immediately after the treatment the subcutaneous tissue of the treated area may show slight swelling, which normally subsides within an hour.

The Veinwave™ procedure is and ideal complementation of sclerotherapy. Often, to optimize therapy, both methods are combined (hybrid therapy). Important is the fact that in comparison to classic laser therapy the treatment with the new technology is significantly less painful. The emitted pinpoint heat causes immediate closure of the vessel, leaving the neighbouring tissues untouched. This allowes for minimization of the potential risk of post-procedural discolourations and scarring.

The price of the procedure performend depends on the number of the impulses used. Closing a single vessel costs 50 PLN. The further cost of the Veinwave™ treatment is assessed according to the number of impulses. Average cost of closing facial vessels is 300 PLN, and for the leg vessels it varies from 300 to 700 PLN.
